March 24th, 2009With the major stories of severe illnesses (many from contaminated food or water) in the news lately, FluoroVei now announces assays that it has developed, and is field testing, to make them available soon to reduce the threat of illness. Several of the microorganisms that have been targeted are Salmonella, E-coli, MRSA (Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus), and TB (tuberculosis). FluoroVei looks forward to brining its unique chemistry and methods to use in the fight to minimize the spread of disease. All of these assays will detect the microorganism within minutes in most cases, or within a few hours, of sample collection.
Reaching out to 2009 Food Safety Summit

FluoroVei hopes that the advertising and information to the attendees through QA Magazine, will reach strong market leaders in the food safety and sanitation fields who will be interested in teaming with FluoroVei to further develop and bring the FluoroQuik system for fast bacterial detection to market quickly.
Salmonella
January 10th, 2009The recent reappearance of Salmonella in the news coincides with FluoroVei’s search for a strong company in the food safety industry to partner with to bring FluoroVei’s rapid diagnostic for Salmonella to market. Currently, the food industry must wait more than 24 hours to receive results from Salmonella testing. With FluoroVei’s system, an answer would be obtained within the time frame of one work shift, thus providing faster identification and lowering the risk of Salmonella poisoning.
FluoroVei’s team completed research and has the chemistry necessary to identify Salmonella. FluoroVei is currently in discussions with several major suitors in the industry and hopes that with the horrible re-emergence in the news of Salmonella poisoning outbreaks, it will drive the industry leaders to come to a workable agreement soon in order to bring the FluoroQuik system on line.

January 5th, 2009FluoroVei LLC looks forward to 2009 and the further development of its unique fluorometric system and assays. FluoroVei’s management continues to identify various industry leaders interested in joining with FluoroVei to pursue worldwide marketing. In response to the growing interest FluoroVei has received for its revolutionary diagnostic system, its management team anticipates the completion of an initial round of funding in January, 2009, which will allow FluoroVei to move forward at a more efficient pace.
